Individual differences in the auditory processing of morpho-phonological and semantic cues

Morpho-phonological patterns and semantic density influence the processing of spoken complex words contribute to dissociation between regularly irregularly inflected forms. However, it is unclear whether all listeners rely on morpho-phonological cues same degree. The present paper examines a listener’s cognitive profile, indicated by efficiency, affects strategy employed when listening morphologically words. Two auditory judgement experiments demonstrate that slower responders more strongly than faster responders, but show effects regardless speed form effects.
